The weather app is looking very promising in New York City as it starts to warm up, and we begin to shed our layers. My skin is healing from last week’s Clear + Brilliant and looks great but a terrible cold sore was the result… apparently you are supposed to take an antiviral before the treatment if you are prone. This week has been a lot of red light, Mederma patches and rehydrating after taking Valtrex a few days ago. I wish more people spoke about this… maybe I would have known.
Lately, I’ve been listening to podcasts and audiobooks on my walks with Bruce. My recent favorites include Ina Garten’s Memoir and The Wellness Process—I especially loved this episode with Emily DiDonato and this episode with Elizabeth Grace Hand, founder of Ställe Studios. Now, I’m dying to book a facial at Ställe Studios and get my hands on the BioEffect and Revive products that Elizabeth raved about. I already have The Rescue Balm from Revive and love it—I've been slathering it on post-laser.
I'm living in my 501s (I size up a size) and Asics these days. This jacket was my best purchase in London last August. This is the newer color, but unfortunately, Arket doesn’t ship to the states. A few similar options below—
Zara / Pixie Market / Toteme / Rue Sophie
501s (32” inseam here) / oversized white tee (also looking at this one) / navy blazer (sized up to a 6 for a more oversized look) / navy bag
This was my most recent order from The RealReal. Jeans and a button-down are my spring uniform, so my focus this season is on building out outerwear—along with shoes and bags. There’s something special about discovering older pieces (at an amazing price) rather than always wearing the latest arrivals like the rest of your Instagram feed. My goal this year is to find a balance between the two.
Nili Lotan trench $325 / Toteme blazer $589 / Toteme zipper legging $52 (must for spring) / Nili Lotan Joan jeans $105 / Prada fur jacket $1,495
A few more things:
Shopbop hearts are updated and are giving a big serotonin boost. Everyone needs a fresh pair of white sneakers for the spring. These are similar to my most worn summer sandal of a brand I won’t name.
Sakara’s new supplement line is absolutely wonderful (not surprised because I love everything they do). If you hate melatonin like I do, you will love these. The liquid vitamin and metabolism bites are my other favorites.
Shon pant season is back (although its never really gone) / my favorite trench coat / socks to wear with loafers / Gucci loafers are always in style (I get this question a lot) and I love this and this color
Overalls are an all year thing for me but this white pair screams spring and summer / Salomon’s are in stock here / grey cashmere tee is Soft Goat, another great option from Quince / same trench as above / The Row medium park tote (the brown suede and leather were sold out for almost a year… grab it while you can) / these Bottega sunglasses are my most reliable, and are even less here.
*Has anyone tried sunglasses from Quince? I am intrigued and like these and these.
Expect to see me dressed and more active on Instagram in the coming days and weeks. I’m finally shaking off a little winter funk, and once my cold sore is gone—game over. Paris soon!

Happy Tuesday! It is starting to feel like spring in New York and the vibes are high. So long winter funk… The new arrivals are lining up in my closet and I am so excited to wear and share them all very soon.
Good to know re: cold sores and Clear & Brilliant (like 2/3 of adults, I also suffer from the OH). Sending you healing vibes!
