It’s been a very busy few weeks as the holiday season approaches! Next week, I’ll be wrapping up my gift guides (in case you missed Tuesday’s post). I finally feel settled in the new apartment! The organizational systems are in place (more on this soon), the pantry and fridge are fully stocked, and most of the furniture has been delivered—just waiting on a few final pieces. I’ve been loving my morning routine lately and wanted to share some updates…
I’ve become obsessed with Tache pistachio milk—it’s clean, delicious, froths well and pairs perfectly with my morning matcha (I use Ippodo)... I’ve also developed a serious addiction to Iceland Provisions yogurt. Their team kindly sent me all the flavors to try, and while they were all amazing, the plain remains my absolute favorite. Nothing else comes close—I’ve tried a lot of yogurt over the years!
I picked up the cookbook at Singita Sabora during my visit a few weeks ago (the food there is next-level amazing) and have been religiously making this granola every week to keep in the pantry (these are the jars I use… have them in about 3 different sizes). It’s perfect in a yogurt bowl or as a snack on its own, and the best part is knowing exactly how much sugar is in it compared to store-bought options. I add extra chia seeds, goji berries, fresh berries, cinnamon, and a drizzle of honey to my bowl.
I disregard the steps for granola bars and make it as granola
If you’ve been following along for a while, you already know how much I love my CurrentBody red light mask (RACHELC at checkout). Their team kindly sent me the new Series 2 mask, and it’s even better than the original! This one actually stays put on your face so you can go about your morning routine without missing a beat (photo above is in real time). I’m sharing the other updates below because the improvements are major! Sweater is Jenni Kayne (25% off right now), top necklace is Adina Reyter and bottom chain is a vintage piece from Fewer Finer (I actually asked Madison to make a few more that look like this so stay tuned… charms coming soon!!)
worth the extra $100 if you ask me!!
Currently sitting in my beautiful new bar stools that came early!!!! They are from Maiden Home and I am bugging over them
Call me crazy, but I ordered this countertop water osmosis system, and I genuinely look forward to every glass of water I drink. Lately I’ve been reading a lot about microplastics and just how harmful our food and water can be… After some research, I landed on AquaTru, and I’m so happy with it. Most filters don’t get all the bad stuff and a lot of osmosis system’s don’t remineralize the water. This one does it all! Since we’re renting and couldn’t drill into the marble to install a second faucet for the under-sink system, this is the perfect solution for now. Meanwhile, my in-laws are in the process of installing a whole-house osmosis system—definitely something I plan to do one day! And while I don’t drink coffee, my husband and guests are obsessed with our Jura machine (on the left).
Okay now lets talk sale… I think its important to remember that you don’t need to shop just because its sale season… but it is a great time to pick up pieces that make sense for you. Grab a pen and paper, or open your notes on your phone and title it winter purchases… make a list of the holes in your wardrobe and other items you have been lusting over (edit over time… I always have one of these). Treat this as your shopping guide and don’t stray! It will save you a lot of money and hours scrolling on your phone. Below are a few of my favorite sale picks I’ve seen this week (so far).
