Many of you are heading to warmer destinations, and a bit of sunny inspiration feels right before the chill hits New York next week.

I still have quite a bit of work to do on my summer and resort wardrobe. Most of the pieces below are already on my wishlist and will likely be added over the next six months.

It’s tempting to buy overly “resorty” pieces, but I’ve found they rarely stand the test of time in my wardrobe—though there are a few exceptions I still love. My goal is to curate a wardrobe that evolves with me, rather than constantly cycling out items from the previous year. It sounds simple, but it’s surprisingly easy to get swept up in all the beautiful options, especially when it comes to resort wear.

pants / white tee/ sandals (or these) / raffia bag (another option here for less) / sunglasses / skin glow
kaftan / bikini top, bottom / sunglasses / sandals / vintage pouch
white top / vintage cotton dress / knit dress
shirt dress (beachier vibe here) / tote bag / sandals / sunglasses
pareo (can wear evening with a button down) / bikini top, bottoms / sandals / pouch / sunglasses / rackets (great gift)

I was hoping to include a look with a Missoni coverup or dress but I am not loving the options right now. Stay tuned for Missoni favorites when their next drop hits!

my favorite white linen set / raffia tote

  3. Janessa Leone hat

  4. Zoe linen short in black and white
