Tabletop & Registry
My wedding registry broken down. Can also be thought of as a tabletop makeover / update and some great last minute gifts for the holidays.
If you didn’t already know, I worked in the buying department for Bergdorf Goodman’s 7th floor (decorative home & tabletop) for 3 years. I don’t post about home enough and will be making a big effort to start doing so. Tabletop, especially, is such a niche area and I want to share as much information as I can with you all!
Creating my registry was one of my absolute favorite parts of wedding planning. I low--key am such a home junkie. Nothing makes me more excited than a beautiful table scape. I know so many people struggle with this part of the process of wedding planning (or shopping for tabletop in general) and I would love to help all I can.
Dinnerware:
My first step to building my tabletop registry was to pick out my china and casual dinnerware and then build everything around it. I tried to stay pretty neutral without being boring by incorporating prints, texture, gold & wood.
Richard Ginori is iconic and beautiful. It is also extremely reliable and I know I will be able to order another 12 place settings in 5 years (this is important!!). I ended up going with 12 dinner plates, 12 salad plates and 12 soup bowls. I am sure I will need to add on as my family grows and we start hosting big holidays. Another post on favorite dinnerware brands and patterns will be coming out shortly.

I have heard only the best things about Heath Ceramics and decided to go for it. I received a few salad plates so far and they are incredible. Not a true white (which I love) and exactly what I was looking for.
What I registered for: 12 dinner plates, 12 salad plates, 12 soup bowls, 12 side bowls, 12 ceramic mugs, 1 shallow salad bowl, 1 large serving bowl, 2 vegetable bowls, 1 medium covered serving dish and 2 9x14 platters.
Serveware:

Try to keep a theme when building your serving pieces in order to keep the table cohesive looking. All pieces should go back to the china and dinnerware and should mix and match. Think of it like building a wardrobe of basics.

Does anyone have Shabbat candlesticks they love? I cannot find a pair I love for the life of me!!!! Let me know your questions in the comments and if you ever need 1-1 help I am always available (just shoot me an email).
Lots of love & happy holidays!
We got a pair of tapered silver candleholders. They aren’t being sold anymore but they were Michael Aram so all the older women on the east coast wanted to buy them 😆 we also got a Waterford pair but use them less often (lazy with cleaning) but they’re beautiful https://www.bloomingdales.com/shop/registry/wedding/product/waterford-lismore-8-candlestick-set-of-2?ID=4216222&cm_mmc=google-_-Dynamic+Search+Ads+-+Main+-+Search+Partners-_-Catch+All+-+Main-_-s___678161590298-_-go_cmp-382434664_adg-31716050344_ad-678161590298_aud-372804244269:dsa-332841324604_dev-m_ext-_sig-CjwKCAiA-P-rBhBEEiwAQEXhH33eMplc50lFDWHBBeT1VMmA3RBUN0sZLf1NC6jITS46Zkvm0J18pxoCdcMQAvD_BwE&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD0PCJTTDEB0xPv_jFREtHmx5yr9I&gclid=CjwKCAiA-P-rBhBEEiwAQEXhH33eMplc50lFDWHBBeT1VMmA3RBUN0sZLf1NC6jITS46Zkvm0J18pxoCdcMQAvD_BwE
