There were some repeat questions so be sure to check out:
Trench coats: I am working on a big spring outerwear edit but this is my favorite trench. I also have the satin version which is one of my favorite pieces ever. I was just sent this coat from Rue Sophie and have been loving it. This beauty from Róhe is another favorite—it has some wool in it, making it perfect for the in-between weather we're having.
Thoughts on yellow diamond engagement rings: engagement rings—and jewelry in general—are so personal, but I say yes to a yellow stone! I always recommend focusing on the center stone rather than the side pieces, but I love a trapezoid side-stone setting with a yellow diamond.
Do we still like Jamie Haller loafers? Jamie Haller makes some of the most comfortable shoes with no break in time needed. I love my loafers but have been reaching for my ballet flats more. These are my newest addition. Bring them to the shoe cobbler and have a sole added to the bottom since they are a bit more delicate.
If you could only have three purses, which ones would they be? Definitely a handheld bag, a shoulder tote, and a clutch. More specifically? Probably a Birkin 30, a medium Park Tote or the Toteme suede tote, and a clutch—possibly one with a shoulder strap option for added versatility. If I were to add one more it would be a statement clutch, like this or this one!
If you had to pick one blazer to invest in, what would it be? I would definitely start with a black blazer, specifically this one from Nili Lotan.
What are trends that will stay vs go away quick? E.g. boat shoe, ballerinas, western belts… Trends always come back, but don’t buy into them just because they’re trendy—invest in pieces that feel like you. With this mindset, you’ll never feel like you’ve made a wasteful purchase. If you’re unsure about a trend, test it out with affordable options from Mango or Zara, then mix those pieces into your wardrobe staples. Personally, I gravitate toward classics with a twist—timeless styles that still feel fresh and unique.
Gowns can be so tricky, which is why I always encourage friends and clients to buy something if they love it—even if they don’t have an immediate event—because searching last minute is horrible (and I know we have all been there). If you’re just entering your wedding guest era or already deep in it, start building a collection and plan to rewear. Some people hate rewearing, but I think it’s beautiful.
Black long formal dress for a May wedding: this, this and this are gowns you will rewear for many years. I also love this Khaite dress that is on Farfetch for less (hi Mango dupe).

Wedding guest dresses: this new arrival is stunning, and anything from Rohe Frames is a yes from me—like this and this gown. Looking for something more spring-ready? I love this new Zimmermann arrival and sale find. Not black tie? This is beautiful. Under $300? Can’t go wrong with something like this. I’m working on a bigger edit, cocktail attire included—stay tuned!
What to wear for rehearsal dinner as bride? This is totally dependent on a number of factors but I love this and this look and this dress.
Bridal heels? It doesn’t get more classic than these from Manolo Blahnik. I wore these to my shower & night before. You can have any pair dyed black after your bridal events.
Mother of the groom dress ideas: Keep it classic and refined without being too loud. I love this RL top and I would have a champagne skirt made to match. I also love this dress from Dolce. Keep an eye on the trunk shows at Moda Operandi. There are usually some great gowns there!

Any registry regrets? We host often and have a big family, so we already need more than 12 place settings. I wish we had registered for 12 additional Ginori Oriente place settings in another color and skipped the ceramics. A few other things on my to-buy list since I didn’t register for them: steak knives, a caviar server, and linen napkins that don’t wrinkle—among a few other essentials! I’ll do a deeper dive on this in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned for Home Junkie coming out soon. You can still view my registry here.
Did you have a registry for your shower and then one for your wedding? We had one registry for everything. I never found the point of having two.
White swimsuits? I love my Jill Sander suit but it is very see through when it gets wet. If you are looking for support, this is one of my favorites and this is the one piece version. Classic triangle? This is my favorite.
Coverup recommendations? I like to be absolutely covered at the beach so I usually opt for long pants and love sleeves. My essentials are a button down maxi dress (another favorite here) and linen pant set. I am eyeing these crochet shorts to pair with a button down and this long-sleeve mini for the summer. You can never go wrong with a pareo— great options here and here.
Spring, summer, resort maternity basics that still feel repeatable and classic: pregnant or not I suggest checking out this set, these cotton poplin pants and these linen pants. Sets from Deiji Studios, dresses and tops from Doen (this is stunning).

Favorite sunglasses? these are my most worn in tortoise and I want to get them in another color. These are the newer version. I also love these and these.
The Row loafers or boots: loafers since its spring! These are my newest pair and are insanely comfortable. I have also been suggesting these for less.
Sneakers for spring? these and these from Dries Van Noten, Salomons and Asics.
What to wear to a bridal shower as a guest? this is where the importance of building your event wardrobe comes in. You shouldn’t feel the need to buy something new for every occasion. A well-curated wardrobe allows you to mix and match effortlessly. This Aligne waistcoat paired with a special skirt like this one from Dries Van Noten is the perfect chic and polished outfit, or this elegant two piece from SEV. For something a bit more understated, this camisole from Rohe pairs beautifully with classic black trousers and a sleek sandal like these. Buy for your wardrobe and life, not the event.
Where did you get Bruce: Goldiva Goldens!
